Watermark Publishing is a unique, independent publishing company dedicated to publishing literary works of the highest merit. Specializing in books written in English as a second language, we also publish works by American writers—allowing all our authors to retain the rights to their works.
By accepting only a limited number of book submissions each year, it allows us to work one-on-one with each of our authors. We discuss, design, format, educate, make suggestions and guide each of our authors through the entire publishing process; allowing the uniqueness of each writer to be reflected in a high quality published print book, Kindle book, or PDF eBook.
Our mission is to enrich the literary culture with quality books; to present important and inspiring literary works; to introduce new authors and poets; and to encourage each of our writers to step forth with confidence as we guide them through the process of establishing themselves in the literary community.
Watermark Publishing chooses its authors based on their works, not on their credentials. We are not looking for long lists of literary accomplishments, prestigious titles or awards; we are looking for great literature that reflects the writer’s unique spirit, skill and style.
We are publishers of integrity and, first and foremost, we are lovers of fine poetry and prose. We love a good story and prefer positive, inspiring words that honor our diversity, celebrate our humanness, reach deep into the center of our hearts and, in a most extraordinary way, touch our souls.
